Enter vpn.iastate.edu in the text field then click the Connect button to proceed. Select SSLvpn in the Group drop-down menu. Enter your ISU Net-ID and password in the Username and Password fields then click the OK button to connect to VPN. Iowa State University's VPN uses encryption to securely and safely connect you into the ISU network when you are off campus. Enter your ISU Net-ID and password in the Username and Password fields then click the OK button to connect to VPN. Disconnect from VPN Left-click the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen to proceed. To begin accessing the software you will have to connect to the ISU VPN by using AnyConnect. To do this, search for the AnyConnect software that you just downloaded and open it. if you cant find AnyConnect go to the bottom right hand corner of the desktop and click on the up arrow (may be different on Mac or older versions of Windows).
